EAVE organises an EAVE ON DEMAND session in co-operation with Film Fund Luxembourg from March 17-18 in Clervaux, Luxembourg, for the fund`s selection committee, project managers, management team and board members.

GDYNIA: The Visions Apart section of Gdynia Film Festival, which started in 2014, will become a competition for experimental films.

ISTANBUL: A total of 15 Turkish projects have been selected for the two sections of Meetings on the Bridge, the Project Development and Work in Progress Workshops organised as part of the 34th Istanbul Film Festival from 11 to 17 April 2015.

BRUSSELS: Moldova has joined the Creative Europe Programme as Tibor Navracsics, European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, and Monica Babuc, the Moldovan Minister of Culture, signed an agreement to participate in the EU programme for the cultural, creative and audiovisual sectors.

BRUSSELS: The European Film Agencies have adopted a common resolution on the EU plans to reform the copyright framework. This first paper, that launches the reflection of the Association of the European Film Agency Directors (EFAD), considers the current copyright framework fit for purpose.

VALLETTA: While approximately 29 m EUR were generated by foreign productions shot in Malta in 2014, this year Malta Film Commission will focus on attracting more foreign productions and restructuring the film fund. A historical agreement with China is also expected.

LEIPZIG: Crossing Borders and Dare to Dream have joined forces and are calling for hour-long or feature-length documentary projects for the international training initiative Crossing Dreams.

ISTANBUL: A total of 204 films from 62 countries will be screened at the 34th Istanbul Film Festival from 4 to 9 April 2015.

STRASBOURG: A total of 18 feature films and two documentaries were granted 4.44 m EUR by Eurimages. The list includes eight CEE coproductions directed by Peter Greenaway, Nae Caranfil, Rainer Sarnet, Hana Jusic and Milos Radovic.
