The Lithuanian Film Centre (LFC) has allocated a total of €1,239,567  for the production of fictional features, shorts, micro-budget films and a minority coproduction.

Yesterday, the Film Festival Cottbus and the East-West co-production market connecting cottbus (coco) started the new season with each awarding one prize.

Film industry professionals from various countries will gather at the sixth “Meeting Point – Vilnius”. The international conference – one of the largest in the region – will take place March 31April 2. Organised by Vilnius IFF “Kino Pavasaris”, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, it gives the opportunity for filmmakers and other industry professionals to discuss current topics, focusing on film marketing and financing, as well as an audience building. Programmers from Europe’s largest film festivals will also be on the lookout for the most appealing projects.

VILNIUS: The international conference Meeting Point - Vilnius will take place 31 March to 2 April. Organised by the Vilnius IFF Kino Pavasaris, it allows filmmakers and other industry professionals to discuss current topics such as defining and attracting audiences. Film marketing experts from Denmark will present their work on Nymphomaniac by Lars von Trier.

PRAGUE: DOK.Incubator invites editors, directors and producers with a project in a rough cut stage and editors, sales people and film institutions' representatives as observers to apply before 3 March.
