FNE at Venice 2017: Invitation for all FIPRESCI and SNCCI Members attending the Venice Film Festival 2017

    VENICE: During the Venice Festival critics will be able to rate any film in all feature length films screening in the Main Competition, Orizzonti, Venice Days and Critics Week (1 to 5 stars). The results will be published each day during the festival on www.filmneweurope.com

    This is not a jury. You rate only the films that you see.*

    You are kindly invited to participate.

    We have three options for inscriptions: 

    1. Attending the festival for the FIRST five days: 30 August - 5 September
    1. Attending the festival for the LAST five days: 5 - 9. September
    1. Attending the whole festival : 30 August - 9 September

    This year FNE in Venice has teamed up with the Lithuanian Film Centre, the Polish Filmmakers Association and the Polish Film Institute that will offer participating critics a gift of DVDs from a selection of the best in classic and contemporary.

    The Lithuanian Film Centre will offer the participating critics two rare, beautifully restored classic Lithuanian films The Beauty / GRAŽUOLĖ (1969) directed by Arunas Zebriunas and Children From The Hotel America / VAIKAI IŠ „AMERIKOS“ VIEŠBUČIO (1990) directed by Raimundas Banionis.

    The Polish Filmmakers Association will present critics with DVDs of contemporary Polish cinema Anatomy of Evil / Anatomia Zla and One Way Ticket to the Moon / Bilet Na Ksiezyc by Jacek Bromski, and the beautifully restored classic Man of Iron / Czlowiek z Zelaza by Andrzej Wajda.

    The Polish Film Institute presents Adrzej Wajda’s candidate Afterimage / Powidoki, Hatred / Wolyn by Wojciech Smarzowski and Agnieszka Holland’s Spoor / Pokot.

    The poll will be limited to 20 critics, members of FIPRESCI and SNCCI, selected on a first come-first serve basis.

     *Members of any Venice jury are excluded.
