Krakow, 21st February 2014 - Bogdan Dziworski, a distinguished Polish cameraman, professor of cinematic art and photography, will receive the Dragon of Dragons award for his entire artistic output at the 54th Krakow Film Festival, which takes place from 25th May to 1st June.

The Georgian National Film Centre announced the results of the first round of the competition for funding of European coproductions with Georgian participation. The announcement was made in February 2014.

Only a few days are left to apply for the Dok Incubator workshop. The final deadline is March 3 for participants to apply for this unique documentary rough-cut workshop is calling for participants, willing to work hard – and fly high.

Regular submission is free of charge. The KVIFF Program Department must receive your completed and printed online Film Entry form and DVD screener postmarked by March 10, 2014.

This year 2 Georgian films were presented at Berlinale. Levan Koghuashvili’s "Blind Dates” participated in the „Forum", whereas Tinatin Kajrishvili’s "Brides”took part in the „Panorama". This film was awarded Panorama Audience Award – Fiction Film 2014: 3d place

For the sixth time in 2014 and after the great success in 2013, Ties that Bind – Asia Europe Producers Workshop will be organised again in 2014 in partnership with Friuli Venezia Giulia Audiovisual Fund, EAVE, Udine Far East Film Festival and Busan International Film Festival / Asian Project Market.

In 2013 the attendance of film theatres in Lithuania continued to grow amounting to 3,256,995 admissions across the country – 236,663 more than in 2012. Also, last year Lithuanian feature films resumed growth after a row of slow years (11 premieres in 2013, 4 in 2012, 2 in 2011, and 4 in 2010) and saw an all times high admissions.
