WARSAW: Cinema City International announced it signed lease agreements for space in two shopping malls in Warsaw, to open a 12 screen and an 11 screen cinema.

Cinema City International and Globe Trade Centre have signed preliminary binding long-term lease agreements for space in two shopping malls to be developed by GTC in Warsaw, Poland. Cinema City will open 12 screens in Galeria Wilanów  and 11 screens in Galeria Białołęka.

We have received joyful news from Stephen Lighthill, President of the American Society of Cinematographers and Lowell Peterson, Chairman of the Membership Committee of ASC that the society’s Board of Governors has elected Marek Żydowicz, the Director of Plus Camerimage Festival, as an Honorary Member of the American Society of Cinematographers.

Outstanding examples of Turkish and world cinema will again compete for the National and International Golden Tulip Competitions of the Istanbul Film Festival, organised by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV) 30 March-14 April. The competition screenings will be held from 8 to 13 April and the awards will be presented at the closing and award ceremony of the festival at Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall on Sunday, 14 April.
