SOFIA: More than 90 feature, documentary and animated films from 2023 will be screened free of charge at the National Festival of Bulgarian Cinema organised by the Union of Bulgarian Filmmakers 1 May - 13 May 2024.
The event hosted by the Cinema House in Sofia will include all the films nominated for the 2024 Vasil Gendov Awards, and the screenings will be followed by discussions with the cast and crew.
The Vasil Gendov awards ceremony will take place on 16 May 2024 at the “Ivan Vazov” National Theatre in Sofia.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
