FESTIVALS: Animated Dreams Awards Two Croatian Films

    TALLINN: Two short Croatian coproductions took home awards at the 2016 edition of the Estonian film festival Animated Dreams, which concluded on 20 November.

    The Croatian/Slovenian film Nighthawk directed by Spela Cadez won the Very Special Jury Prize of the Grand Competition and the Bulgarian/Croatian film Traveling Country directed by Vessela Dantcheva and Ivan Bogdanov won the Golden Prize in the Shut Up! Competition of films without dialogue or voice overs.

    Estonia claimed the Bronze Prize in the Shut Up! Competition for Full House directed by Kristjan Holm.

    All the films in the competition sections were short animated films.
