The Georgian National Film Center (www.gnfc.ge) has announced its national competition for financing documentary and short animated films for 2011 production. The grants will support national film production on the local level.
The competition will be held in two rounds. Participating projects are to be selected by an independent experts' commission, assembled by GNFC.
The final decision of the winners of the competition will be announced at the beginning of 2011.
The animated film financing competition, with €60,000 in total funds, will finance a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 5 projects.
GNFC will grant a minimum of 1 and maximum of 4 documentary films, with €80,000 in total funds.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region.
