VILNIUS: The domestic market share increased in Lithuania from 14% in 2015 to 19.5% in 2016 with 13 domestic films seen by almost 700,000 viewers and cashing in 3.46 m EUR. Four domestic films are in the admissions top ten 2016.

Five films took part in the programme and 20,000 EUR were allocated for the distribution programme.

Revenue from tickets grew by 15% or nearly 2.3 m EUR in 2016. In 2015, ten national premieres sold over 440,000 tickets and cashed in 2 m EUR.
