CEE Youth Vote for EFA Best Kids Film

    Youths in Bulgaria, Slovenia, Poland and Malta will participate in choosing the winner of the second edition of the EFA Young Audience Award on Young Audience Film Day, 5 May 2013.

    The three nominated films will be screened to 12 – 14 year-olds in Copenhagen (Denmark), Erfurt (Germany), Izola (Slovenia), London (UK), Sofia (Bulgaria), Turin (Italy), Valletta (Malta) and Wroclaw (Poland). The young audience will vote for the winner following the screenings. The results will be transmitted live via Skype and announced in an award ceremony that will be streamed live.  

    Partners include the Sofia International Film Festival (Bulgaria), MEDIA Desk MaltaNew Horizons Association in Wroclaw (Poland) and Otok Institute for developing film culture (Slovenia)

    The three nominees for the EFA Young Audience Award 2013 are: 

    THE SUICIDE SHOP by Patrice Leconte (France, Belgium & Canada) 

    UPSIDEdown by Bernd Sahling (Germany) 

    THE ZIGZAG KID by Vincent Bal (the Netherlands).
