FESTIVALS: Emir Kusturica’s Küstendorf Film and Music Festival Announces Lineup

    BELGRADE: Twenty two titles have been selected for the Official Competition programme of the 10th Küstendorf International Film and Music Festival, running from 14 to 19 January 2017. The festival initiated by Emir Kusturica is dedicated to emerging filmmakers and established names of auteur cinema.

    Kustendorf 2017The festival will also screen out of competition, among other titles, Emir Kusturica’s latest film On the Milky Road / Na mlječnom putu (produced by Rasta International, Pinball London and BN Films), Dane Komljen’s All the Cities of the North / Svi severni gradovi (Dart Film Production) and the short film Paper, Horse, Birds / Papirnati Život by Zoran Tairović.

    The jury will be composed by the Chinese writer Geling Yan (president), the Parisian entertainment lawyer Christian Valsamidis and the Serbian director Nikola Ležaić. The festival is organising a competition for short films. The awards are Golden, Silver and Bronze Eggs.
