CALL FOR ENTRIES!! Baltic Event Co-Production Market

    29 November - 2 December 2009, Tallinn

    Entry deadline: September 15, 2009
The Baltic Event Co-Production Market announces its 5th anniversary edition this year! For five years already, we have been proud to present this unique event, which takes place during the Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn, has been bringing together project representatives from the Baltic countries, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and Scandinavia with potential financiers and decision makers from the international film industry.
With our anniversary edition, we will continue to provide a small, yet efficient backdrop for your business meetings while also organizing our always energetic, fun, and productive social events and special presentations. We are also introducing a special anniversary pilot project. We will select one project from anywhere in the world which has a story set in the region, or which would like to shoot in the region. The project will participate in the Co-production Market together with the other projects.

The market works through a model of one-to-one meetings set up before the event, providing direct and effective contact between projects and potential partners. The market attracts industry guests from all areas of production - producers, sales agents, distributors, film institutions, and festivals - and has been lauded for its small, yet efficient, team and effective organization. Participation in the Co-Production Market gives producers an efficient possibility to create or extend their international network.

The Baltic Event Co-Production Market takes place in the special film festival atmosphere of medieval Old Town of Tallinn. The Market is part of Baltic Event, which also includes screenings of the newest feature films from the Baltics and presentations of the Coming Soon projects in the region.
