WARSAW: Lech Majewski will start shooting the adult fantasy Valley of the Gods in March 2016. The film is a Polish/American coproduction starring Josh Hartnett, Charlotte Rampling and John Rhys-Davies, which will be shot in Poland, Italy and Utah, USA.

LONDON: London-based production house Film and Music Entertainment (F&ME) has wrapped production on DeDe, a Georgian/British/Croatian/Dutch coproduction which is part of the company’s current slate of ten films.

WARSAW: Agnieszka Holland has wrapped the third and final stage of the shoot for her crime thriller Game Count, a coproduction between Poland, Czech Republic, Germany and Sweden.

NICOSIA: Director-producer and founder of Tetraktys Films Ltd, Stavros Papageorgiou is developing the 60 minute documentary Greek Minds at Work, the first creative space technology documentary ever produced in Cyprus.

PRAGUE: The Czech/French coproduction Skokan directed by Petr Vaclav is in postproduction. The film produced by Jan Macola of Mimesis Film and coproduced by French Cinema Defacto was partially shot during the 2015 Cannes IFF, using the Cannes festival Palais and surroundings.
PRODUCTION: Petr Nikolaev Prepares Film about Czechoslovak Legionnaires
PRAGUE: An important anniversary of Czechoslovak legionnaires inspired Czech director Petr Nikolaev to pay a tribute to them with an epic feature film. The Czechoslovak Legionnaires Community approached Petr Nikolaev after he directed a WWII film in 2011.

PRODUCTION: Bohdan Sláma Begins Shooting Ice Mother
PRAGUE: Czech director Bohdan Sláma has begun shooting of his Czech/Slovak/French coproduction Ice Mother/Bába z Ledu in Plzeň and Hradec Králové. The film is produced by Pavel Strnad and Petr Oukropec from Negativ with a budget of approximately 1,3 m EUR.

LIMASSOL: International film director Peter Medak is shooting The Ghost of Peter Sellers, a feature length documentary about the film Ghost in the Noonday Sun, which Medak also directed.
PRODUCTION: Eric Roberts Set to Film in Croatia
ZAGREB: US actor Eric Roberts has joined the cast of Someone Dies Tonight which will begin filming in Croatia in March.
PRODUCTION: Ashes in the Snow Shooting in Lithuania
VILNIUS: Marius Markevičius began shooting the WWII drama Ashes in the Snow / Pelenai Sniege in Lithuania. The film is an American/Lithuanian coproduction based on the bestseller Between Shades of Gray by Rūta Šepetys.

NICOSIA: Cypriot writer/director Simon Farmakas is in the final stages of postproduction with his debut feature, the dramedy Sunrise in Kimmeria.
