ZAGREB: Danilo Serbedzija has become the new president of the Croatian Film Directors' Guild.

The following feature films received funding from the Polish Film Institute in its 1st session in February 2015.

PRAGUE: The new edition of East Doc Platform (2-8 March 2015) brings new awards and new competition categories for projects in development. The symbol of this year’s edition is a shoe, hence the motto “Step into it!”.

Pawel Pawlikowski’s black and white drama Ida was awarded with an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film and also with the Independent Spirit Award for Best International Film last weekend.

TBILISI: Georgian National Film Centre will allot approximately 121,000 EUR / 300,000 GEL for long and short documentaries in 2015.

ZAGREB: Action adventure series Dig, set to premiere on USA Network on 5 March 2015, is back in Croatia shooting additional episodes. Embassy Films is providing services.
