KRAKOW: The 55th Krakow Film Festival has started. It will run from 30 May until the 7 June 2015. One of the oldest film events, dedicated to documentary, animated and short fiction films in Europe, this year viewers will have the opportunity to watch abotu 250 films from Poland and abroad. In the National Competition alone there are 41 films.

ZLIN: The 55th edition of the Zlin Film Festival for Children and Youth opens 29 May and runs through 4 June 2015.

TALLINN: Cinema admissions in Estonia reached 2.6 million in 2014, the highest number since it regained its independence in 1991, according to the Estonian Statistics Board.
