PLZEN: The Way Out, which marked Petr Václav’s return to directing after an absence of 13 years, took the main award at the 28th Finale Plzen Film Festival which wrapped on 2 May 2015. The film also won seven awards at the Czech Lions in late February, including the prize for best film.

KRAKOW: Roman Polański returned to Poland to pick up an award at the PKO Off Camera Festival in Krakow, his home town.
