His debut feature Love.net (2011, produced by Miramar film) ranked in the top 10 all-time box office in Bulgaria after 1989.

VARNA: Yassen Grigorov’s third feature film Lilly The Little Fish will screen in the main competition of the 35th Golden Rose Bulgarian National Film Festival (30 September-7 October 2017). This children's fairy tale was announced Best European Film at the European Cinematography Awards for the month of August 2017.
