FESTIVALS: The High Sun Wins 62nd Pula Film Festival

    PULA: The High Sunwon the best film award and the best director award for Dalibor Matanić at the 62nd Pula Film Festival which concluded on 25 July 2016.

    The film also picked up three acting awards and the best costume design award in the competition of Croatian films, along with the award of the Croatian critics.

    The Slovak film Koza directed by Ivan Ostrochovský won the Friends and Neighbors competition and a special mention in the international competition. Next to Me directed by Stevan Filipović won the international competition.

    A total of 128 film were screened in 12 sections.
