The TV drama is a coproduction between Chinese company Onmijoi Group and Prague company Twin Star Film directed by Quing Hua. The series will be broadcast on Chinese TV CCTV.

Filming is taking place in Prague, Plzen, Liberec and Terezin. The Czech Republic stands in for Vienna and Austria, where the true story of a Chinese diplomat who saved Jews from the Nazis, takes place.

The series will be released in 2016.
