FESTIVALS: Motherland Wins Tbilisi Festival

    TBILISI: Motherland directed by Senem Tüzen won the Golden Prometheus for Best Film at the 16th Tbilisi International Film Festival which concluded on 6 December 2015. Solomon directed by Zaza Khalvashi won the Best Film award in the National Competition.

    The Silver Prometheus for best director went to Jonas Caprignano for Mediterranea.

    The festival also awarded the honorary Prometheus for contribution to world cinema to Harutyun Khachatryan and Georgian director Lana Ghoghoberidze
