CANNES: Budapest based Hungaricom (http://www.hungaricom.com/) has acquired world rights for the Kecskemetfilm (http://www.kecskemetfilm.hu/) animation catalogue with over 300 short films and 10 animated features. Hungarian animation studio Kecskemetfilm, founded in 1977, is one of the world's best know producers of children's animation. Hungaricom is offering the catalogue in the Cannes film market this year.

One of the highlights is 620 minutes of classically hand drawn Hungarian folk tales. Viktor Dudas sales executive for Hungaricom said: "These are all traditional hand crafted drawings by Hungarian artists. They created a beautiful world."

Another highlight of the catalogue is the cult animated series Leo and Fred created by Pal Toth that has an international following.

Hungaricom has made a name for itself in international animation with the hit feature Immigrants L.A. Dolce Vita which is also available as a six episode TV series produced by Megafilm (http://www.megafilm/)

Another top seller on Hungaricom's Cannes slate is sure to be I Am Not Your Friend by one of Hungary's hottest young directors Gyrogy Palfi.
