Laurin Entertainment Ltd.'s managing director Koronel Sipos as well as a spokesman for 7 Arts Pictures confirm that the production Nine Miles Down did not stop shooting for four months as stated in the FNE article. It is also not true that Laurin Entertainment was unable to secure a bank guarantee.

Laurin Entertainment has a long and well-established history of working on successful projects and international co-productions in Hungary.

Nine Miles Down is budgeted at $17.5 million and Nick Nolte is not attached to the project.
