PODGORICA: In 2025, the Film Centre of Montenegro distributed 1.351 m EUR as production and development support.
A total of 1.14 m EUR was allotted as production grants for feature films, long documentaries, animated films, short fiction films and documentaries, and minority coproductions, while 98,000 EUR went to 15 projects as script development grants, and 113,000 EUR to five projects as project development grants.
The first batch of grants for 2026 has not yet been announced.

The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
