The Last Family by Jan P. MatuszyńskiWARSAW: The critically acclaimed Polish film The Last Family directed by Jan P. Matuszyński has been released in the UK through the Odeon Cinemas network. It will be screened in 17 cities in the UK and Ireland.
The film, based on the Polish surrealist painter Zdzisław Beksiński, his wife and their son, was produced by Aurum Film in coproduction with HBO Polska and Lightcraft, with the support from the Polish Film Institute and the Mazovia Film Fund. Polish sales company New Europe Film Sales has sold the film in Sweden and Hungary.
The Last Family was released in Poland by Kino Świat on 30 September 2016 to a strong opening week.
