Serbia and Macedonia Join FNE Association

    WARSAW: Serbia and Macedonia have become the newest members of the Film New Europe Association. Both countries have also recently joined the Creative Europe MEDIA programme.

    Boban Jevtic head of the Serbian Film Centre and Mimi Gjorgoska-Illievska Director Macedonian Film Centre will represent their respective countries on the FNE Association board.


    Edith Sepp, the chair of the FNE Association said: “We welcome Serbia and Macedonia as new members of the FNE Association. Both countries have rapidly developing film industries and their membership in the association will give us a chance to work more closely with Serbia and Macedonia in order to exchange ideas and develop new ways of cooperating with neighbouring countries in the region.”


    The FNE Association is the main networking platform of professionals in the Central and Eastern Europe and Baltic region made up of the heads of the most important film institutions in the region. The two new members bring the total number of members of the FNE Association to 16 countries. The FNE Association is also responsible for the Film New Europe webportal with its FNE Daily newswire.
