BUCHAREST: Happy Channel launched in Romania on 7 March 2016 replacing Euforia TV. The channel is destined for women and families.
Happy TV is operated by Antena Group, which received from the National Audiovisual Council of Romania a permission to replace Euforia TV with Happy TV in February 2016.
According to Mediafax quoting Ruxandra Ion, content counselor within Happy Channel, a Romanian series might be developed in the years to come. The initial investment is 2 m EUR.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
