BUZĂU: The first edition of the BUZZ CEE International Film Festival dedicated to Central and Eastern European cinema will take place in the Romanian town of Buzău on 4-8 May 2016. Call for applications is open.
There will be three competition sections: feature films, short films and documentaries. Deadline for applications is 1 April 2016.
BUZZ CEE is organized by Asociația CulturALL in partnership with local authorities and is supported by TVSat 2000, George Ciprian Theatre Buzău and Cinelab România.
This is the second Romanian film festival dedicated to the CEE cinema after Mediaș Central European Film Festival, founded in 2011.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
FNE’s objectives include VISIBILITY for the region and AUDIENCES for films by providing a special focus on the region.
