BELGRADE: Wongar by Andrijana Stojković was awarded best long documentary at the 65th March Film Festival (Martovski festival – The Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival) on 1 April 2018. The festival screened almost 120 films from 28 March to 1 April 2018.

BELGRADE: The 65th edition of The March Festival – Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival starts on 28 March 2018 and will run at the Belgrade Youth Hall (Dom omladine Beograda) until 1 April 2018.

BELGRADE: Serbian writer/director Miloš Puić is currently in production with long documentary Pixie, focusing on one of the biggest living footaball legends in Serbia, Dragan Stojković Piksi. The film is supported by Film Center Serbia.

BELGRADE: The long documentary Occupied Cinema / Okupirani bioskop directed by Senka Domanović is in the final postproduction stage. This Serbian/Croatian coproduction focuses on the guerrilla action initiated by young activists, who took over the privatised cinema Zvezda in Belgrade in November 2015.

ZAGREB: Milad Alami’s The Charmer won the Belgrade Victor Award for Best Film in the international competition, while Ederlezi Rising by Lazar Bodroža was awarded best film in the national section of the 46th FEST, which officially closed on 4 March 2018, after ten days, more than 110 films and 75,000 spectators.

BELGRADE: First Serbian sci-fi and first debut feature by prominent Serbian visual artist Lazar Bodroža is among the five domestic premieres in the national section of the 2018 FEST, running from 24 February to 4 March 2018.

BELGRADE: Esteemed Serbian helmer Dejan Zečević has the domestic premiere of his ninth feature film Offenders / Izgrednici in the national section of the 2018 FEST, running from 24 February to 4 March 2018. The film was first screened at the 2017 Chicago IFF.

BELGRADE: Bandits in Search of Mom / Banditi u potrazi za mamom, the debut feature by Kosta Ristić mixing fiction and non-fiction, had its premiere in the national section of the 2018 FEST, which runs from 24 February to 4 March 2018.

BELGRADE: Young Serbian filmmaker Svetislav Dragomorović’s debut feature Horizons / Horizonti will have its domestic premiere in the national section of the 2018 FEST running from 24 February to 4 March 2018. Horizons was selected for the 2017 Cairo IFF.

BELGRADE: Bugs and Heroes / O bubicama i herojima directed by Petar Pašić had its premiere in the national section of the 2018 FEST running from 24 February to 4 March 2018.
