KARLOVY VARY: Czech director/writer/producer Albert Hospodářský is currently in production with his debut feature, the Czech/Slovak coproduction Brutal Heat / Brutální vedro. The film participated in the Eastern Promises – Works in Progress within the 56th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (1 – 9 July 2022).

PRAGUE: FNE spoke with Pavel Barák, chairman of the Czech Game Developers Association (GDA), about the association's current activities, as well as the state of Czech game development industry.

MESTIA: A total of 20 titles have been selected for the short film competition of the second edition of the Georgian Svaneti International Film Festival, which will take place in person in Mestia 10 - 16 July 2022. Eight long projects have been selected for the industry programme platform.

TBILISI: Georgian director Ana Kvichidze is currently in production with her first long documentary, the Georgian/French coproduction Heart, Don’t Be Afraid. The film is supported by the Georgian National Film Center and the French CNC.
