VALLETTA: A new film from the Jurassic World franchise, starring Scarlett Johansson, is expected to be shot at the Malta Film Studios from July to September 2024.

The film will not be shot entirely in Malta, according to Times of Malta, which is quoting multiple sources.

The production is expected to use the 40% cash rebate provided by the Malta Film Commission.

Jurassic World Dominion by Colin Trevorrow was partly shot in Malta in 2021. In 2022 the Malta Film Commission launched Jurassic World attractions in the towns of Valletta, Birgu and Mellieħa, an initiative aiming at improving screen tourism as well as family tourism.
