FNE at Cannes 2023: Films from FNE Partner Countries Selected for Cannes’ Short Films and La Cinef Competitions

    CANNES: Films from Hungary and Poland are among the 11 titles selected for Cannes’ Short Films competition, while the La Cinef selection counts 16 films among which two are from the Czech Republic.

    The titles from the Short Films competition were selected from 4,288 submissions, while 2,000 films were submitted by film schools for the 26th La Cinef.

    Hungarian director and scriptwriter Ildikó Enyedi will chair the Short Film and La Cinef juries at the upcoming edition of the 76th Cannes Film Festival, which will be held 16 – 27 May 2023.
