Dogan Media International Picks Up Bucuresti TV Audiovisual Licence


    BUCHAREST: The Turkish company Dogan Media International has received the green light from the National Audiovisual Council of Romania to take over the audiovisual licence of the Bucuresti TV channel and to rebrand it into Kanal D2.

    Bucuresti TV is broadcast in HD and it is included in the must carry list of the Romanian cable operators.

    Kanal D2 will air mostly TV series and feature films.

    Kanal D was launched in Romania 15 years ago and currently is the third generalist channel in the country.
