PRODUCTION: Stanko in Preproduction

    {mosimage}BRATISLAVA: Rasto Boros is preparing to shoot the feature film Stanko in Slovakia, Austria and Italy in summer-fall 2012.

    On the background of the topic of human trafficking, this road movie will highlight the self-delusion and dreams of people from periphery of society, while also looking at the topic of frienship and betrayal.

    Rasťo Boroš wrote the script. He will work with Ivo Miko as DOP. Barbara Harumová Hessová is producing through AH production (www.ah.sk, under construction). The project is supported by the Slovak Audiovisual Fund (www.avf.sk). The budget is 150,000 Euro. Stanko received 10,000 Euro development grant from the Slovak Audiovisual Fund in 2012, and it will also receive a production grant of 124 500 Euro.

    The 40-day shooting will begin in mid-August. Harumová Hessová also told FNE that she is searching for an Italian coproducer or partner. The cast includes almost all non-professional actors, except Peter Kočan.

    The film is set to be finished in 2013..
