LJUBLJANA: Feed Me With Your Words, the debut feature film by director Martin Turk, is in the middle of shooting and is expected to be completed on 4 October 2011. The film should arrive in Slovenian theaters in October 2012.

WARSAW: Irish director Norah McGettingan completed filming her debut drama Sanctuary on 10 September 2011. The Irish/Polish coproduction was shot both in Poland and Ireland.

BUCHAREST: Nae Caranfil (Restul e tăcere/The Rest Is Silence) writes and directs Closer to the Moon, his first English language feature starring Vera Farmiga and Mark Strong. Filming began on 5 September 2011. The wrap date is to be announced.

WARSAW: Director Eugeniusz Korin is filming Vulture, a new Polish addition to the classic thriller genre. The shoot, which started on the 12 June 2011, is concluding in early of September.


PRODUCTION: TVN Shooting Series Agatha’s Law

WARSAW: Polish private broadcaster TVN is preparing a new original series entitled Agatha's Law (Prawo Agaty) to premiere in 2012. It will be the first classical law series made in Poland.


PRODUCTION: Sonja & the Bull Begins Filming

ZAGREB: Director Vlatka Vorkapic started filming Sonja & the Bull, produced by Interfilm and Croatian Radio and Television, on 25 August 2011 in rural Croatia. Filming takes place in Zagreb and Dalmatia for the next six weeks. The film is funded by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HVAC)


PRODUCTION: September Shoot for Fabicki's Love

WARSAW: Sławomir Fabicki will start shooting his new psychological drama Love on 10 September 2011 in Warsaw. The 30-day shoot will conclude on 20 October, on locations in Warsaw, Plock, and other sites.

KRAKOW: Czech film director Marek Najbrt is shooting his new project entitled Polish Film. The shoot will continue in Krakow through September 2011. The premiere is planned for 2012 at the Kralovy Vary IFF.
