 The Man Who Desalinated the Sea, a feature-length drama–mockumentary written, produced, and directed by Zurab Dzhidzhilava. Starring acclaimed British actor and theatre director Martin Cooke in the leading role, with rising cinematographer Artem Khavrienko behind the camera.

BRATISLAVA: Confession by Slovak director Rebeka Bizubová, and Dad’s not Home by Polish director Jan Saczek received the 2025 Academy Awards in the Documentary and Live Action Narrative categories, respectively.

The 29th edition of Baltic Sea Docs, the long-running documentary co-production forum in Riga, is set to run from 31 August to 5 September. The forum will feature 26 documentary projects within its industry programme, alongside film screenings for audiences in Riga and multiple regional towns.
