SPLIT: Japanese film Chihiro by Satoshi Natori won the Grand Prix in the Feature Film Competition of the 31st Split Film Festival. The Short Film Competition was won by the Croatian film Leave This Room Buried directed by Iva Kraljević.
PODGORICA: The documentary To Hold a Mountain / Planina directed by Biljana Tutorov and Petar Glomazić has been selected as Montenegro’s official candidate for the 99th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awards in the Best International Feature Film category. The film is a coproduction between Montenegro, Serbia, France, Belgium, Slovenia, and Croatia.
