TBILISI: Mamuka Bliadze has been appointed as the head of the Georgian National Film Center (GNFC), Georgia’s key institution for supporting national cinema, developing international coproductions, and preserving the country’s film heritage.
With professional background in banking, finance, and entrepreneurship, Bliadze has led companies in tourism, agro-tourism, and wine production before taking on his current role.
At GNFC, his focus is on expanding opportunities for Georgian filmmakers, fostering global partnerships, and strengthening the visibility of Georgian cinema worldwide.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
