GRANTS: Poland Supports Ten New Feature Films


    WARSAW: Polish Film Institute has granted 5.3 m EUR / 23.5 m PLN to ten feature film productions. The list includes new projects directed by Andrzej Jakimowski, Władysław Pasikowski and Agnieszka Smoczyńska.

    The biggest grant of 1,370,771 EUR / 6 m PLN went to Ochotnik produced by Madants. There is no director attached to this project yet. 

    The film Swięty, directed by Sebastian Buttny, produced by IKH Pictures Promotion received a grant of 2.1m PLN.  The film has a total budget of 6m PLN.

    The expert comittee for feature film production included Joanna Kos-Krauze, Ilona Łepkowska, Lech Majewski, Wojciech Marczewski and Ewa Puszczyńska.
