PRODUCTION: Universal's Dragonheart 4 Completed Shooting in Romania

BUCHAREST: Universal's fantasy film Dragonheart 4 by Patrik Syversen, a direct-to-video sequel to the series Dragonheart 3: The Sorcerer's Curse, was shot entirely in Romania and has moved to postproduction.

The film stars Dina De Laurentiis, Tom Rhys Harries, Stig Frode Henriksen and the Romanian actor Ioachim Ciobanu. Raffaella De Laurentiis is producing. The production also used some 500 local extras.

The small budget production was shot mainly in Hunedoara county (including Corvin Castle) and near Bucharest, and also for a few days at Castel Film Studios, which is the local services provider. Shooting took place from 14 April to 30 May 2016.
