    TIMIȘOARA: Requiem for Mrs. J by Bojan Vuletic was awarded Grand Prix at the 2018 edition of the Timișoara Central European Film Festival, running from 29 August to 2 September 2018. Peter Bebjak was awarded best director for The Line / Čiara.

    Eight films ran in the competition.

    The festival was organised by Asociația Eurofest with the support of the Ministry of Culture and National Identity, the Timișoara City Hall, the House of Culture in Timișoara, the Romanian Cultural Institute, the Romanian Film Centre, the Romanian Filmmakers Union (UCIN) and the Federation of Jewish Communities in Romania.
