RIGA: An adult folk tale and rotoscope animation, Dog of God / Dieva suns by brothers and directors Lauris and Raitis Ābele has been selected as Latvia’s candidate for the 98th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award in the Best International Feature Film category.

SOFIA: Milko Lazarov’s third feature film Tarika has been selected as Bulgaria’s candidate for the 98th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award in the Best International Feature Film category.

PRAGUE: Klára Tasovská’s documentary I’m Not Everything I Want to Be has been selected as the Czech Republic’s candidate for the 98th Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences award in the Best International Feature Film category. The film is a Czech/Slovak coproduction.
