    HAVC Launches Games Croatia to Promote Local Gaming Industry credit: Reboot Blue

    ZAGREB: The Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC) has launched Games Croatia, a new programme dedicated to supporting and promoting the Croatian video game industry. Games Croatia was first presented at the Reboot Develop Blue conference in Dubrovnik on 22 - 24 April 2024, and the next major presentation will take place at the Gamescom fair in Germany on 21 – 25 August 2024.

    The project aims to actively promote Croatian video games at fairs, meetings and other events in Croatia and abroad, and to provide advisory, organisational and financial assistance to the developers.

We want to increase the international visibility of the Croatian developers, with the aim of establishing new collaborations that will contribute to the further development of the sector”, Benjamin Noah Maričak, the head of Games Croatia, told FNE.

    The project came to life with the support of key stakeholders such as the Croatian Game Development Alliance, Reboot, Gaming Incubator PISMO, the HU-IZ-VI Association and the Croatian eSports Federation.
