Five Czech Docs from Jihlava Get Distribution

    PRAGUE: Five Czech documentaries will be distributed in Czech cinemas following screenings at the Jihlava International Documentary Festival.

    The films are distributed under the title Czech Joy by Verbascum Imago under a joint project with Jihlava IDFF established in 2011.

    The films will begin their run on 6 November 2014 at two of Prague’s arthouse cinemas. Cinemas are obliged to screen at least three of the five documentaries. The films are: Adoptions: Auditioning for Parents directed by Alice Nellis and produced by K B Production; My Home directed by Jiri Stejskal and produced by nutprodukce; Into the Clouds We Gaze directed by Martin Dusek and produced by Czech TV; Long Live Hunting by Jaroslav Kratochvil and produced by nutprodukce and Pirating Pirates directed by David Calek and Jakub Zahradnicek and produced by Bratri.
