For the first time writers, directors and producers will go through a year-long development platform from January 2018 to January 2019, as Feature Launch has partnered with Trieste Film Festival and Eastweek, Film Center Serbia, Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and When East Meets West.

Feature Launch Workshop 1 will take place in Trieste from 20 to 26 January 2018. Feature Launch Workshop 2 will be held in Serbia from 27 April to 3 May 2018. In July 2018 a Project Showcase with Industry experts will take place in Karlovy Vary, while Feature Launch Spotlight will be held in Trieste in January 2019.
