TBILISI: The National Archives of Georgia continue a large-scale digitalisation process that started in 2013. The institution managed to digitalise 250 film records in the first half of 2025, and also to launch several multimedia pages.

The film reels are transferred to digital using a 4K resolution film scanner.

Also in 2025, the Archives have digitalised approximately 6,035 photographs, 1.5 million pages of documents, and 150 audio recordings.

The digitalisation is accompanied by multimedia pages with digital collections, of which five are dedicated to film director and actor Dodo Abashidze, film actors Erosi Manjgaladze and Kakhi Kavsadze, poet Titsian Tabidze, and photographer Dmitri Mdzinarishvili.
