www.pisf.plWARSAW: Former Polish Film Institute Director Agnieszka Odorowicz, will become a member of the board of the Polish DTH platform Cyfrowy Polsat as of 1 March 2016.
General Director of the Polish Film Institute between 2005 and 2015, Odorowicz has returned to the private sector. The board of Cyfrowy Polsat also chose a new president, Tobias Solorz. He will replace Tomasz Gillner-Gorywoda, who will remain on the board.
Cyfrowy Polsat was launched on 5 December 1999 and is owned by Cyfrowy Polsat S.A. With 3.5 mln subscribers, it is the fourth largest digital platform in Europe and the largest in the CEE region.
The Film New Europe (FNE) Association is the networking platform for film professionals in the CEE/SEE/Baltics region. The webportal and FNE newswire was chosen as the MAIN TOOL to achieve the network’s objectives of the sharing of know how, visibility of regional cultural diversity and finally the VOICE of the region.
