CEE Light on Nominations for EFA Awards

    SEVILLE: Only four films and filmmakers from CEE received nominations for the European Film Awards which will be announced on 12 December 2015 in Berlin.

    Romania got nods for Toto and His Sisters by Alexander Nanau in the best documentary category and for Radu Jude & Florin Lazarescu in the screenwriting category for Aferim!, a coproduction with Bulgaria, Czech Republic and France.

    Poland’s Małgorzata Szumowska received a nomination as best director for Body. The final CEE nomination went to Slovenia as coproducer on the documentary Dancing with Maria
