Sacro is the third top winner taken on by Film Europe from prestigious festivals this year after Child's Pose, which dominated the Berlinale, and La vie d'Adele, which won raves at Cannes. "Film Europe is the first distribution company in the region which acquired all three top winners from all three top film festivals in one year," Film Europe director Ivan Hronec told FNE. "In additional, we bought them before they were awarded - a beautiful proof of our market and festival research effectiveness as well as the quickness of our acquisitions."

Top quality european films feeds Film Europe's vertically integrated distribution model, Hronec added, including festivals and theatrical distribution, broadcast on the company's own pay TV channel as well as the recently opened Kino Film Europe in Bratislava.
