FESTIVALS: The Third Be2Can Ready to Start

    PRAGUE/BRATISLAVA: The 3rd edition of Be2Can will show the best films screened at Berlinale, Venice and Cannes in the Czech towns of Prague, Brno, Zlín, Ostrava and Olomouc from 6 to 12 October 2016, and it will move to Slovakia from 24 to 30 October 2016.

    The opening film of the festival will be the German comedy Toni Erdmann by Maren Ade. This year Be2Can will feature Golden Lion winner from Venice From Afar by Lorenzo Vigas, Golden Bear winner from Berlinale Fire at Sea by Gianfranco Rosi and Palme d’Or winner from Cannes I, Daniel Blake by Ken Loach.
     
    English friendly screenings at the festival are: 24 Weeks by Anne Zohra Berrached, American Honey by Andrea Arnold, Hedi by Mohamed Ben Attia, I, Daniel Blake, The Unknown Girl by Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne, After the Storm by Hirokazu Koreeda, Death in Sarajevo by Danis Tanovic, Toni Erdmann, Being 17 by André Téchiné, From Afar and Neon Demon by Nicolas Winding Refn.
