FESTIVALS: Festival of Slovenian Film in Portorož Announces Lineup

    PORTOROŽ: Seven Slovenian feature films and four long documentaries will be screened in the competition of the 22nd Festival of Slovenian Film in Portorož, which will run from 17 to 22 September 2019.

    A total of 58 films (19 feature films, 5 medium-length films, 21 short films, 13 student films and 10 minority coproductions) will be screened in the official competition and will compete for Vesna awards.

    The Panorama programme features 49 titles, including two feature films and seven documentaries. Tribute presents a selection of films of this year Badjura Award recipient. The Badjura Lifetime Achievement Award will go to the independent film author and composer Andrej Zdravič.

    All the films will be screened in the two venues (Main Hall, Amphitheatre) of Avditorij Portorož.

    Most of the feature films from the competition will be released in Slovenian cinemas in next few months.
